He carries a magical flute capable of summoning kages and wields a silver tongue that can weave enchanting tales, though his true intentions remain mysteriously hidden. Whether he'll prove friend or foe is a question only time will answer.
The Land of Odd
Yatzy exists in the richly imagined Land of Odd, a world inspired by Brian Froud's Podlings from The Dark Crystal. Unlike the earthy tones of Podlings, the Oddlings celebrate a kaleidoscope of colors and diverse personalities. The Land is home to diverse communities—from Desert-dwellers to Underwolders, Aeyriekin to Swamplings, Oceanics to Forestkind—each with their own cultures, beliefs, and traditions.
The Craft
Each Yatzy marionette is handmade in Australia by The Squeaking Tribe, featuring a sculpted clay head with hand-painted details, a unique minstrel costume made from specialty fabrics and collected materials, and professional 6-string marionette controls. Standing 25cm tall (60cm when strung) and weighing 0.6kg, each piece is unique with its own story told through carefully chosen textiles, jewelry, and distinctive details.
