Mordlin: Silent Skarekrow of Koaltraine's Bastards

Mordlin: Silent Skarekrow of Koaltraine's Bastards

$300.00

Sister to Bugby, Mordlin is a skarekrow of a Bastard with a sunken beak—living proof that silence can be deadly.

Mordlin's Story
Sister to Bugby, Mordlin couldn't appear any more different: a skarekrow of a Bastard with a sunken beak and living proof that silence can be deadly. Amongst Koaltraine's krew of professional killers, she is perhaps the most proficient, though stays tight-lipped on the subject... of course. It's hard to brag without a tongue. (Sorry!)

The Land of Odd: A World of Wonder
The Land of Odd is a mystical experience in world-building! Meet the Oddlings, a deliberate tribute to the humble Podlings developed by Brian Froud for "The Dark Crystal". Normally a grassroots clan dressed generically in the umbers and ochres of the earth, our redeveloped Oddlings embrace a much wider palette of colour and textiles in their costuming and adopt a wide range of vibrant skin tones quite at odds with the earthy hues of their originators. Much of our collected jewellery and specialty off-cuts have found a home here, lending every one its own unique individuality.

Premium Australian Craftsmanship
Each Oddling marionette is meticulously handmade in Australia by The Squeaking Tribe, featuring hand-sculpted details, carefully selected fabrics and embellishments, and professionally strung controls for expressive, lifelike movement.

Perfect For:

  • Collectors of fantasy and world-building narratives
  • Fans of The Dark Crystal and Brian Froud's aesthetic
  • Puppet theatre and storytelling performances
  • Unique decorative art celebrating handcrafted characters
  • Gifts for lovers of mystical and magical worlds

Specifications:
Marionette in doll form is approximately 25cm in height or 60cm when strung
Handcrafted with premium materials and unique embellishments
Professional marionette strings included

Bring the mystical world of The Land of Odd to life with Mordlin—where silence speaks louder than words.
