Gorne : Woo Tribe Marionette
Gorne, the Cyclops Who Sees Everything and Breaks What Needs Breaking
Gorne's got one eye and it's seen some shit.
As the scout for Wimbledean's mob, Gorne stands at the edge of the cloud-realm and watches. Reads the horizon like a death sentence. Tracks threats three valleys out. Knows what's coming, how fast it's moving, and exactly how many rocks it'll take to stop it.
And when trouble arrives—and it always does—Gorne doesn't negotiate. Doesn't warn. Just throws.
Boulders become missiles in those hands. Precision that shouldn't exist in something that size, that brutal. One eye, one shot, one less problem bleeding out in the dirt. Gorne protects the mob—Wimbledean, Boobooweww, Wahwahweewah, the whole strange family—with a loyalty that's absolute and a violence that's efficient. You threaten them, you're done. No speeches. No second chances. Just the sound of stone meeting skull and the quiet that follows.
Soft-hearted? Sure. Gorne loves the mob, would die for them without hesitation, speaks in that low rumble that sounds almost gentle if you're not paying attention to what's being said. But soft-handed? Not even close. Those hands have crushed bone, shattered armor, turned living things into warnings for the next idiot who thinks the mob looks like easy prey.
The sweet tooth is real, though. Dangerously real. Gorne can smell honey from three valleys away, will trade blood-soaked relics for a basket of pastries, has been known to stop mid-battle because someone's baking bread downwind and it smells like it might have cinnamon. The contradiction is the point—warrior and sweet-seeker, protector and glutton, the cyclops who'll end you without blinking and then sit down with a honeycomb like nothing happened.
That eye misses nothing. Sees through lies, through bravado, through the thin veneer of civilization people wear when they're planning something ugly. Gorne knows what you are before you open your mouth. And if you're a threat? You won't get the chance to close it.
The Marionette:
- Hand-sculpted to capture the brutality and the tenderness—both are real, both matter
- One eye, sharp and unforgiving, built for seeing what others miss and aiming what others can't
- Details that show the wear: scarred hands, broad shoulders, the stance of someone who's stood between danger and family and won
- Approximately 25cm in doll form, 60cm when strung and ready to throw
- Part of the Anthropomorphics, where monsters are just honest about what they are
- Handcrafted in Australia with respect for what Gorne represents—protection without apology
Cyclopes have always been cast as monsters. Gorne doesn't argue. Doesn't need to. He's a monster when he has to be, and the mob sleeps safer for it. One eye that sees everything. One purpose that drives everything. Protect the family. End the threats. Find the honey.
In your collection, Gorne is the one who reminds you: gentleness is a choice, not a weakness. And when you choose violence, make it count.
One eye. One throw. One less problem. That's Gorne.
