Frankenstein's Monster: Boris Karloff Marionette Puppet
Meet Frankenstein's Monster - Misunderstood, magnificent, and monstrously moving!
Inspired by Boris Karloff's iconic portrayal, this marionette captures the tragic beauty of Mary Shelley's most famous creation. Far from the mindless brute of popular imagination, Frankenstein's Monster is a sensitive, emotional creature whose only aim is to share his life with another sentient being like himself. Stitched together from spare parts and brought to life by lightning, he shambles through existence seeking connection, understanding, and perhaps a little companionship in a world that fears what it doesn't understand.
Our handcrafted interpretation honours the classic Universal Monster aesthetic - the flat-top head, the neck bolts, the lumbering grace - while bringing the character's emotional depth to life through articulated movement. Perfect for classic horror enthusiasts who appreciate the pathos beneath the monster!

Halloween Horror Show: Frightening can be fun!
It's no surprise that many people find marionettes creepy or scary, no matter how cute you try to make them. And so it is with no small relish that I find myself indulging the darker side of story and my own fascination with the macabre in creating a range of puppets to celebrate the shadows and the sinister. Classic monsters especially offer a continuing source of inspiration - creatures that remind us that sometimes the real monster is how we treat those who are different.
This Frankenstein's Monster brings tragic, timeless horror to your collection - bolts, stitches, and all the feels!
