Pop Culture: Fan favourites, familiar faces, and frightening fun with a Squeaky twist!

Although it's wonderful to see people embrace our personal designs, the fact that there are so many incredible characters already existent in the world isn't something we can ignore. Identities from the entertainment industry have joined the ranks of classic storybook icons, horror legends from the silver screen, and other creatures of nightmare in the melting-pot that is Culture today - never has it seemed so dynamic and varied. Much of the work displayed here has eventuated from old custom requests which found immediate favour with a wider audience and so become part of the Squeaking Tribe's ongoing range. Our interpretation comes from a space of respect and quiet awe, a tribute to the visionaries who dreamt them into being, and while the original ideas may not be ours, we labour to bring our own personal flourishes to each design. It's no surprise that many people find marionettes creepy or scary, no matter how cute you try to make them - and so it is with no small relish that we indulge both the beloved and the macabre, where fan favourites rub shoulders with things of nightmare in a grand celebration of pop culture's full spectrum.
