Koaltraine's Story
The Land of Odd is full of influential types and Koaltraine is certainly no exception. While the origins of his power is a muddy affair of half-truths and unreliable legends, the fact he controls almost all the Great Swamp and its surrounds in everything but title cannot be argued. A pirate and a gangster-king, Koaltraine has amassed the equivalent of an army committed to thuggery and dark deeds in the Western Lands and he maintains it all with an Iron Fist the pseudo-aristos of the Gulch have yet to shake. With his efficient band of select kut-throats, the Bastards, Koaltraine holds essential reign across the remaining network of the Fens and Southslough. Still, stories can turn on the deeds of seemingly-insignificant peeple, and there are those about who may just turn the tide, if their own stories survive that long...
