Dankin's Story
Dankin and his brother, Tadpole, were orphaned at a young age which is a common story in the Great Swamp though rarely one which ends happily. His tenacity and swamp-wise talents, however, taught him the strength to survive for both their sakes and, though they have since found themselves under the wardship of two unfriendly moonshiners called Weedler and Shillie, he schemes for the two of them to find a better world for themselves out in the wider Land. He only needs the koin to make it happen... and it appears in the form of a strangeling from the Forest on a mysterious quest of her own.
