Chucky – “Child’s Play” Classic 80’s Horror Marionette Puppet

Description

Chucky

One of the most recognisable horror icons ever is the killer doll, Chucky. A vessel for the soul of savage serial killer, Charles Lee Ray, Chucky as an original “Good Guy” doll wreaks murderous havoc across multiple sequels, a reboot, and his very own web-series, ever since the launch of the original “Child’s Play” back in 1988. While his body has undergone many violent abuses, his wicked humour has always prevailed, and his ability to jump from doll-to-doll has made it possible for us to enjoy the world-building nightmare of his adventures for 35 years. He is also a pleasure to indulge in the form of one very creepy marionette, itself an obvious vessel which would no doubt appeal to killer himself. Handle with care!

Halloween Horror Show: Frightening can be fun!

It’s no surprise that many people find marionettes creepy or scary, no matter how cute you try to make them. And so it is with no small relish that I find myself indulging the darker side of story and my own fascination with the macabre in creating a range of puppets to celebrate the shadows and the sinister. Here, horror icons from the silver screen rub shoulders with other things of nightmare in a grand monster mash of ghoulish celebration. Enter if you dare – here there be monsters!

Marionette in doll form is approximately 25cm in height or 60cm when strung.
