Dark Crystal/Labyrinth: A tribute to our creative roots!

I was ten years old in 1983 when Jim Henson’s “The Dark Crystal” was released and to this date it remains perhaps the greatest influence in my life as an artist and creator of interactive effigies. Whether directly or indirectly, the fantastic details of Brian Froud’s creature design can be witnessed in much of the work displayed here and it is with no small amount of professional awe with which Sara and I give separate consideration to our own humble attempts to recreate their worlds as tribute.
