KOBOLDS

Kobolds are a staple of fantasy fiction and folklore, a creature akin to goblins and the like which often play out their dramas to more insidious ends. Here at the Squeaking Tribe however, we have reimagined them as something else and wonder at what new fortunes they might find in future stories…
Deep in the dark of a subterreanean cave-system, the Kobolds are a breed of lizard-like beings who have mined a lucrative lifestyle for themselves from the precious ore and gemstones which have amalgamated in their Land’s crust. They are a Tech-savvy breed too, wedding their early experiments in alchemy with exciting new advancements in scientific theory. They are an arrogant breed by nature though many individuals have begun to display alarming habits of empathy and curiosity for the outside world, an evolutionary by-product which will one day bring them into First Contact with other life-forms who unwittingly share their World.

Fantasy: All things Magical and Mystical!

I’ve always found myself inspired by the mythic world-building of fantasy and the millions of creatures and characters dreamt into being to populate these imagined spaces. An intimate escape from the everyday routines of mundanity, fantasy is a door into something out-of-this-world where history and mythology collide to create brave, new Worlds of discovery. For anyone who has shared a love for the otherworldly, the fantastic and the fey, you are welcome to wander here a while among our own fabulous friends and fictions. Never stop dreaming!
